We are strengthening our Engineering team with someone who knows 2D electrical design and wants to grow in technical project management. Here you can see how a design decision becomes a finished solution, working with the people who assemble, wire and test it.
01 / YOUR CONTRIBUTION
What you will do.
- Create and update single-line diagrams, functional diagrams and panel layouts using AutoCAD 2D and SPAC.
- Analyse specifications, customer requirements and technical documents, translating them into manufacturing drawings.
- Support project engineering from project launch through changes, clarifications and updates during delivery.
- Support the selection and coding of circuit breakers, disconnectors, protection relays, CTs/VTs and other components, checking compatibility with the design.
- Work with assembly, wiring and testing teams to resolve technical issues and improve construction solutions.
- Help standardise and automate electrical design, including with AI tools, to reduce repetitive tasks and design time.
02 / THE SKILLS THAT MATTER
What you bring.
- A technical qualification in electrical engineering or equivalent; an electrical engineering degree is welcome.
- Two to five years of electrical drawing and design experience, preferably with switchboard manufacturers or electromechanical companies.
- Knowledge of LV and/or MV switchboards, single-line and functional diagrams and panel layouts. Familiarity with Power Centers, MCCs and LSC2A/LSC2B MV switchgear is welcome.
- Strong 2D CAD skills; direct experience with SPAC Automazione is preferred.
- Knowledge of circuit breakers, disconnectors and protection relays, including manufacturers such as ABB and Thytronic.
- Familiarity with the main technical standards for LV/MV switchboards.
- Accuracy, autonomy and practical judgement; ability to work with engineering, production and Project Managers.
- Technological curiosity and a practical interest in AI and improving design processes.
03 / THE VALUE OF YOUR WORK
Where you make a difference.
Clear production drawings and increasing responsibility in project engineering, with opportunities to help develop automation and AI tools.
