Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by the browser. Local storage and scripts may also store information or access the device. We distinguish tools necessary for the service from optional statistical tools, explaining when they are activated.

The controller is ICEL SISTEMI ELETTRICI S.R.L., Via Tito Baresani 17/19, 25124 Brescia, Italy, VAT and tax code IT 03297070173. Contact: info@icelsistemielettrici.it.

A free choice you can change

On your first visit, choose Accept, Reject or Customize. Accept enables only optional categories that are actually available; Reject and closing with the X keep necessary tools only. Scrolling or continuing to browse does not constitute consent.

If no measurement service is available, we do not collect advance consent for a future activation. New relevant services or purposes require a new choice.

Rejection does not restrict pages, catalogues or the contact form. “Cookie preferences” remains available in the footer.

Necessary tools

These tools deliver the requested service, protect access and respect the visitor’s choices. They do not require optional consent.

Name / typePurpose and duration
icel_privacy_choice
Browser local storage
Remembers your cookie choice, notice version, choice time and expiry. Valid for 6 months from the latest choice; updated on each change and checked on each visit. Contains no browsing history and is not sent to a database. Other tabs on the same domain receive the change. May remain in local storage until your next visit or until site data is cleared.

The private preview hosting platform may also manage technical tools for authentication, security and routing. They are separate from ICEL measurement and depend on the platform session and service; information is available in the provider’s notice. The ICEL panel does not manage your platform account.

Measurement: Google Analytics 4

Current status: inactive. We do not load the Google tag or set Analytics cookies. The feature is prepared for a later ICEL configuration.

The intended purpose is to understand page views and website use. The provider in the EEA is Google Ireland Limited; Google LLC and other Google entities may also process data outside the EEA under applicable safeguards. Google notice ↗.

Planned cookieFunctionConfigured duration
_gaPseudonymous browser distinction for statistics.180 days, without automatic renewal on every visit.
_ga_*Technical measurement session information.Up to 180 days, according to tag configuration.

These are cookies on the website domain managed through the Google service. They are optional. The tag is blocked before consent: rejection does not trigger cookieless measurements sent to Google. Withdrawal disables data collection and removes accessible Analytics cookies on the domain; the page reloads to stop scripts already loaded.

The integration does not transmit form messages, names, email addresses or attachments. Page URLs are reduced to paths without query strings or fragments; advertising signals are disabled. Browser cookie duration is separate from data retention in Google systems, which is managed through ICEL’s property settings.

Visiting companies: Apollo

With consent to “Visiting companies”, we use Apollo.io to recognise companies interested in ICEL and inform our sales activities. This choice is independent of Google Analytics and can be withdrawn through the footer. Consent is the legal basis for this optional tracking.

Apollo receives IP and technical connection data, a browser identifier, visited pages, and any referral and campaign parameters. ICEL’s purpose is to recognise the company associated with a visit. Apollo may match these data with its company information. The provider’s script may include identifier services such as LiveIntent when applicable to the service configuration. We do not send form contents or CVs to Apollo. Identification is not guaranteed for every visit.

The script stores apolloAnonId (an identifier without native expiry), a temporary event queue, an availability check and, when available, liveIntentData in local storage. The latter two are valid for 24 hours; the queue is updated after sending. The website removes these entries on refusal or withdrawal and on the first visit after consent expires. Before consent, it does not load Apollo or the services called by its script.

Withdrawal reloads the page to stop scripts already running and removes Apollo entries accessible in this website’s local storage. It does not retroactively erase data already received by the provider or cookies on its domains. For provider retention, recipients, international transfers and rights, read the Apollo privacy notice ↗ or contact ICEL. Browser local storage is separate from information held by the service.

How to change your choice

Open “Cookie preferences” and choose “Reject all” to withdraw optional categories, or change the switches and save. Withdrawal applies to future activity; it does not undo processing lawfully performed before withdrawal. Contact ICEL about any data already collected.

Your choice relates to this browser and device: other browsers or devices may have different preferences. Clearing site data, including local storage, makes the panel reappear. If saving is unavailable, optional tools remain blocked.

07 /

Browser settings

You can inspect, block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser’s privacy settings. Clearing necessary tools may remove preferences or require signing in again to private areas. Browser controls complement the ICEL preference panel.

Links to maps or other external websites do not embed those services within ICEL pages. Following an external link also brings the destination website’s notices into scope.

Information and updates

For legal grounds, recipients, retention and rights, read the Privacy Policy. For questions, write to info@icelsistemielettrici.it.

This policy is updated when website tools change. The version at the top is linked to the preference saved in your browser. Apollo is described in the visiting companies section; you can manage it separately from Google statistics.
