Required and optional information

The form requires the contact reason, name, email, message and acknowledgment of this notice. Without these, we cannot accept the online request. Company, phone, product, deadline and attachments are optional. You can also contact ICEL using the email address or telephone number above.

Optional analytics is independent of the form. Rejecting or withdrawing measurement consent does not prevent you from viewing catalogues or sending an enquiry.

Applications and CVs

When you apply through Careers, we process your name, email, optional phone number, selected role, message and CV. The purpose is to assess your profile and manage contact concerning the recruitment you requested. The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Name, email, role, message, CV and acknowledgment of this notice are required for the online application; your phone number is optional. You may also contact us directly by email. We do not ask for a photo, date of birth or special-category data: avoid health information, political opinions, religion or other information unrelated to your professional assessment.

Applications may be accessed by ICEL personnel authorised for recruitment and the technical providers needed to deliver the service. CVs and messages are stored in a restricted area. The website does not use AI to score applicants or make recruitment decisions and does not transmit CVs to AI models.

We keep the information for the time needed to assess the application and complete the relevant recruitment process. For speculative applications, this depends on relevant opportunities actually being considered and subsequent contact; indefinite storage for unspecified future recruitment is not envisaged. Once no longer necessary, data is removed, subject to legal obligations or specific needs to establish, exercise or defend rights. Contact info@icelsistemielettrici.it for clarification about the recruitment status, applicable retention period or your rights.

The checkbox records that you have read this notice; it is not consent to marketing or cookies. The other information on this page about the controller, providers, transfers and rights also applies to applications.

Who may receive the information

Enquiries and documents are accessible to authorised ICEL personnel who need them to handle the request, such as sales, proposal engineering and technical teams. Technical providers supporting hosting, storage, security and maintenance may process data within the relevant service and contractual arrangements. Professional advisers or authorities may receive data where necessary for a legal duty or the protection of rights.

The current website is published through ChatGPT Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure for delivery, database storage and attachments. Access to the private preview may also require a platform account; that account is governed by the platform’s own notice. Enquiry attachments are stored privately, rather than published as freely accessible website assets.

The quotation form does not publish personal data or send it to an AI model for analysis. Email notifications to ICEL, when configured, are delivered through Resend. The service processes the request details, sender contact information and attachment names needed to compose and deliver the notification. Documents remain in the restricted area and are linked from the email. Information about the providers involved in a specific request can be obtained from ICEL.

07 /

Where information is processed

Data is processed by ICEL in Italy and through its service providers’ infrastructure. Using international cloud or analytics providers may involve processing outside the European Economic Area; this website does not promise exclusively Italian or European storage.

International transfers must rely on an applicable GDPR safeguard, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses and, where necessary, supplementary measures. Contact ICEL to obtain information on the locations, recipients and safeguards applicable to your data, including a copy of the relevant safeguards within lawful limits.

08 /

How long information is kept

  • Enquiries and documents: for the period needed to assess, answer and follow up the request. If a commercial relationship results, the relevant documentation follows the contract and applicable legal retention duties. Further retention is limited to what is needed for legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of claims; unrelated documents should not be retained for that purpose.
  • Form acknowledgment: retained with the enquiry as evidence of the notice presented at collection.
  • Browser preference: six months from your latest choice, unless you clear your browser data or a relevant change requires a new choice.
  • Technical logs: for the operational and security period applicable to the relevant service; longer only where required to investigate an incident or fulfil a legal duty. Provider-specific details can be requested from ICEL.

The retention criteria depend on the purpose, progress of the enquiry, legal obligations and any genuine dispute. You may ask ICEL for the period applicable to a particular request or seek erasure where the conditions are met.

Visiting companies: Apollo

With consent to “Visiting companies”, we use Apollo.io to recognise companies interested in ICEL and inform our sales activities. This choice is independent of Google Analytics and can be withdrawn through the footer. Consent is the legal basis for this optional tracking.

Apollo receives IP and technical connection data, a browser identifier, visited pages, and any referral and campaign parameters. ICEL’s purpose is to recognise the company associated with a visit. Apollo may match these data with its company information. The provider’s script may include identifier services such as LiveIntent when applicable to the service configuration. We do not send form contents or CVs to Apollo. Identification is not guaranteed for every visit.

The script stores apolloAnonId (an identifier without native expiry), a temporary event queue, an availability check and, when available, liveIntentData in local storage. The latter two are valid for 24 hours; the queue is updated after sending. The website removes these entries on refusal or withdrawal and on the first visit after consent expires. Before consent, it does not load Apollo or the services called by its script.

Withdrawal reloads the page to stop scripts already running and removes Apollo entries accessible in this website’s local storage. It does not retroactively erase data already received by the provider or cookies on its domains. For provider retention, recipients, international transfers and rights, read the Apollo privacy notice ↗ or contact ICEL. Browser local storage is separate from information held by the service.

Google Analytics and Search Console

Google Analytics 4 is not currently active on this website. The integration is prepared but no Google measurement tag is loaded. Enabling it requires a configured ICEL property and a new, specific choice from the visitor.

When enabled, the service is provided in the EEA by Google Ireland Limited, with possible processing by Google LLC and other Google entities. Information may include a pseudonymous browser identifier, page viewed, device and usage information. Our integration excludes contact form contents and attachments, strips query strings and fragments from page URLs, and disables advertising signals.

Google Search Console is a separate tool for site verification and search performance. Verification can use DNS or an HTML token and does not require loading Analytics or accepting its cookies.

Protection and automated decisions

The website uses encrypted connections, server-side input and attachment checks, and restricted access to stored requests and files. ICEL limits access according to the role and purpose of the processing. No automated decision producing legal or similarly significant effects is made through this contact form.

12 /

Your rights and how to use them

Within the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, a copy, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of the processing already carried out.

Write to info@icelsistemielettrici.it, identifying the request and the information needed to locate your data. ICEL may ask for proportionate identity checks. Requests are normally free and receive a response within one month; any lawful extension or exception will be explained.

You may lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali ↗, or another competent supervisory authority, and seek a judicial remedy.

Updates and related information

This notice is updated when website services or processing change. The date and version identify the text presented to you. Where necessary, a new choice will be requested before activating a new optional processing purpose.
