We are looking for a Switchgear Wiring Technician with accuracy, manual skills and the ability to read electrical drawings, including panel layouts and single-line diagrams. You will wire switchboards internally, following engineering documents and checking your work before testing.
01 / YOUR CONTRIBUTION
What you will do.
- Wire switchboards internally according to diagrams and drawings supplied by engineering.
- Prepare and connect terminals, circuit breakers, measuring instruments and other electrical components.
- Carry out visual and instrument checks on completed work to prepare the switchboard for testing.
02 / THE SKILLS THAT MATTER
What you bring.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, panel layouts and single-line diagrams.
- Work accurately with good manual skills.
- Experience, including early-career experience, wiring switchboards or working in related manufacturing environments such as industrial electrical installations.
- Previous experience with power switchboard manufacturers is an advantage.
