We are looking for a Procurement Manager who understands both the technical and commercial sides of purchasing. Someone who can lead negotiations, develop alternatives and balance price, quality, lead times and service.
01 / YOUR CONTRIBUTION
What you will do.
- Lead supplier negotiations on price, payment terms, lead times and service.
- Support sales and estimating teams from the quotation stage, negotiating key components to improve competitiveness and margins.
- Identify, qualify and expand the supplier base, comparing alternatives on price, quality and delivery.
- Define project purchasing strategies around specifications, budgets and production deadlines.
- Develop digital and AI tools for price analysis, supplier benchmarking and bid evaluation, with support from internal colleagues.
02 / THE SKILLS THAT MATTER
What you bring.
- Significant industrial purchasing experience, preferably with EPC contractors, electrical plant suppliers or electromechanical companies.
- Strong negotiation skills, including complex negotiations and purchasing cost reduction.
- Knowledge of electrical components and their suppliers, preferably in LV/MV applications.
- Ability to analyse costs, compare bids and assess total purchasing cost.
- Autonomy, a focus on results and an interest in using digital and AI tools.
