03 / CONSTRUCTION
Standard metal sections for wall or free-standing installation. Cable connections are made from the front through the dedicated cable-way.
MODULARITY
Ten equipment modules per section and two auxiliary modules, one at the top and one at the bottom.
EXTENSION
Sections designed for extension to the left and right, for both main busbars and auxiliary circuits.
CONNECTIONS
Incoming and outgoing cables can be arranged from the top and/or bottom. The base provides cable openings and fixing holes.
Sendzimir-galvanised steel frame. Front and enclosure panels are degreased and finished with epoxy-polyester powder coating. Top lifting eyebolts assist handling.
A ventilation duct and openings in the front, internal partitions and roof provide natural heat dissipation.
Self-bonding nuts and bolts earth the structure. A copper protective bar runs the full length of the switchboard and is sized for the prospective fault current.
Live parts can only be reached after removing metal barriers or insulating screens.
04 / VERSIONS AND SEPARATION
Compare the two construction versions and explore the standard range drawings.
Illustrative modular arrangement, not a project drawing. The 10 positions represent available modules, not a fixed number of circuits.
The catalogue identifies version M as form 2b: functional units are not separated from one another. The construction layout identifies the busbar zone and cable-way.
Usable height HC is defined according to the busbar current.
Illustrative modular arrangement, not a project drawing. The 10 positions represent available modules, not a fixed number of circuits.
Version S is identified as form 4a. Metal partitions separate the compartments, each closed by an individual door, as shown in the standard section drawings.
Module sizes depend on the specified circuit-breakers or motor starters.
HC is the available equipment mounting space in the drawings on pages 6–7. It is not the overall switchboard height.

Module designations c/C are retained from the table on page 5. A dash indicates an unspecified value, not an excluded combination. Motor powers are at 380 V; no automatic conversion to other voltages applies.
The technical example on page 8 places LPB, LPB with an IP54 front door, LM02 and LCT together. These are the drawing’s labels; they do not define supply ratings or configurations on their own.

07 / TECHNICAL FAQ
Answers to support selection and prepare your technical discussion with ICEL.
Let’s discuss your plant ↗LPB is designed for low-voltage power distribution. LMCC is designed for centralised motor control. Both families share a modular structure, with compartments accommodating circuit-breakers or motor starters to suit the project.
Yes. ICEL builds LPB configurations for power collection and distribution in photovoltaic plants. Selection starts with the number and characteristics of the inverters, single-line diagram, protection and connections. Voltage, current, apparatus and dimensions must be checked against the project configuration and this catalogue.
Rated assembly current is up to 2,500 A, with Ue up to 690 V AC or 750 V DC. Rated short-time withstand current is up to 50 kA for 1 s, with peak withstand current up to 105 kA. Voltage ratings depend on the installed equipment and ratings apply to the project configuration.
LPB / LMCC is ICEL’s fixed-unit switchboard family. The catalogue provides for fixed or removable apparatus: moulded-case circuit-breakers for LPB and motor-control equipment in individual compartments for LMCC. The device arrangement is distinct from the compartment structure.
Yes. ICEL can integrate these brands in its low-voltage range. Equipment selection for LPB / LMCC must suit the required functions, compartment dimensions and configuration characteristics. The catalogue’s dimensional tables are indicative; the combination is defined and checked during project engineering.
Yes. Access and cable connections are from the front; the catalogue allows installation against a wall or in the centre of a room. The installation drawing shows a front aisle greater than 1,000 mm and an example with two back-to-back rows. Actual clearances must be checked against the project drawings.
The catalogue identifies form 2b for version M and form 4a for version S. Version S uses compartments separated by metal partitions. Separation, equipment and module dimensions are defined together during project engineering.
The 380 V table lists direct-on-line, reversing and star-delta starters, with fuses or a circuit-breaker. Listed motor powers range from 11 to 160 kW. C dimensions are indicative and refer to the combinations in that table; they must not be extended automatically to other voltages or equipment.
Sections are designed for extension on both sides, for both main busbars and auxiliary circuits. Incoming and outgoing cables can be arranged from the top and/or bottom. The cable-way is accessible from the front.
Selection starts with the electrical diagram, currents, motors and selected devices. The catalogue provides indicative compartment dimensions and standard sections; usable height HC varies with busbar current. Final dimensions, thermal loading and connection space are checked during project engineering.
